“SUCCESSFUL SHOP HOP”
The Downtown Alexandria “SHOP HOP” was another very successful event sponsored by the Downtown Merchants Association(DMA)!! Planned to coordinate with the annual memorial week-end of “Awake the Lakes”, the week-long celebration included sidewalk sales, shop hop stamp cards, quilts displayed in downtown business windows, many sales and specials, drawings and prizes. The GRAND PRIZE of $500.00 downtown dollars, along with many additional prizes, was help on Saturday, May 29th, at Mary’s Daily Grind. The excitement peaked as Stephanie Vassar was drawn as the 2010- SHOP HOP Grand Prize winner. A special thanks to all of the businesses who participated, the DMA Shop Hop committee, and Mary’s Daily Grind.
